Bombay Cat Personality
BOMBAY CATS FOR SALE
The Bombay is a very sociable, yet mischievous breed, inclined to come up with novel methods to amuse themselves if given the chance, kind of like a monkey, cat, and dog all wrapped into one. They get along well with family, other pets, and friends since they are gregarious, bright, and outgoing.
History and Origins
A breeder in Louisville, Kentucky developed the Bombay in an effort to make a "parlour panther," or a jet-black cat with gorgeous copper eyes and a lithe, athletic frame. There is no denying that the Bombay perfectly satisfies this need!
By mating a black American Shorthair with especially vivid eyes to a sable Burmese female, Ms. Horner started her endeavors in 1953. She was able to dependably create a striking black cat that was unique from all others by a protracted process of selective breeding, outcrossing, and careful control over the line.
